Nuvvon is delighted to announce that Dr. Zhiyong Meng has joined Nuvvon as Lead Polymer Scientist.
Dr. Zhiyong Meng, battery materials scientist with over 20 years of expertise in polymer and organics chemistry for functional materials research, has recently joined the Nuvvon team.
Zhiyong has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry from the University of Toronto, a PhD in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University. His professional journey includes innovations in cutting-edge functional materials synthesis at Novartis, Parker-Hannifin and Entegris, and battery materials research at Entek and Ionic Materials
Zhiyong will be working alongside Manveer Sidhu, President and Head of Innovation at Nuvvon, who believes that, “Zhiyong’s expertise will help accelerate the commercialization of solid-state batteries based on Nuvvon’s proprietary polymer electrolyte technology.”
Nuvvon is thrilled to welcome Zhiyong to the team, and given his accomplished background in polymer science, Zhiyong provides an indispensable set of skills to further improve Nuvvon’s polymer chemistry and advance the company’s development, scalability and commercialisation of next generation solid-state lithium metal batteries.
